About Dr. Yacihuilca Moní

I’m a licensed Clinical Psychologist in Massachusetts and Connecticut, and a National Health Service Psychologist. I earned my doctorate in Clinical Psychology from William James College and completed a post-doctoral fellowship at UMass Memorial–UMass Chan Medical School.

I’m passionate about helping people across all stages of life—from children and teens to adults and older adults—find ways to heal, grow, and thrive. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working with individuals from diverse backgrounds, supporting them through challenges like depression, anxiety, ADHD, trauma, OCD, and panic disorder.

I have formal training in evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). I also offer Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), an effective treatment for trauma and PTSD. Every person’s journey is unique, so I tailor my work to fit your needs, strengths, and goals.

At the heart of my work is creating a space where you feel truly heard, respected, and supported—without judgment. Therapy is a collaborative process, and I’m here to walk alongside you as you take steps toward the life you want. I look forward to learning more about you and exploring how we can work together.
